Christmas decor delights...

I wish I could say these pics were taken at my house, but they are not. :-( One of the absolutely most wonderful things about photography has been getting to peek into the lives and loves of families. I have met some of the most special people these last few months and I'm so fortunate to be able to share a bit of time with them. One of the people who I feel fortunate to have met is Jeanette and her husband Blake. Believe me when I say that Martha doesn't have a thing on Jeanette! I'm serious! Yesterday the girls and I had the pleasure of popping by Jeanette's to take a few photos of her decor. She was making a cute little butter bee hive for a dinner party she was hosting last night....hours before she was flying to Poland for a wedding! The aroma of fresh baked apple pie (with little hearts around the crust) wafted through the house from the oven as I ohhhed and ahhhhed over every little Christmas goody in each nook and crany! I hope she doesn't mind me sharing these photo's here but the house is just TOO DELIGHTFUL not to!

snapshot happy

Here are a few of my favorite snapshots of '07 but they are all of Grace and Mason, my neice and nephew. This thumbs up one is at the zoo and was a complete happy accident. She's not really giving thumbs up it just looks like it! And I just love Mr. Mason's blue blue eyes!

Ready, Set, Don't Go!

You may have noticed I changed the first song. So I'll admit it, I really love Hannah Montana on Disney Channel! Such a cute show, it generally has fun storylines, the clothes are too cute and they throw in right and wrong! This song just kills me. REallY! It could make me cry everytime and I'm totally NOT a cryer. :-)

Here's a few more favorites, again!

Some Favorites

I have so many many favorite shots from the past few months I could post pics all day...so for the next few days I'm going to try to share some of them with you. The little guy in the first photo had such a happy spirit. This Nativity scene shot was his idea and I LOVE it. How cute is his wondrous gaze? The little guys in the next shot were some fall favorites that I also happened to shoot in Dec. as well. These 2 are AWESOME special kids and they are twins to boot and I sure have a special place in my heart for twins! And their cousins were GREAT kids too! The next set are from a cool family that I got to shoot twice this fall as well, one for fall and one for Christmas. They have a cool connection. The Mom of the little boy from the super cool railroad shot is a really great lady and her brother married her
husband's sister! SO FUN! These three with the red sweaters on are her neice and nephews. Look for more posts to come in the next few days!

Puddle Play

It sure was a nasy, yucky rainy weekend! With 4 shoots I was praying for dry days but Mother Nature had other plans. Look at this little guy, Mr. M playing in a puddle...too cute!

The Shoemakers Son...

So what is that they say...the shoemakers son always goes barefoot? I hadn't done my own Christmas card photo until today at 4:00! Finally I begged, pleaded and just about threatened Cole to get outside and let me snap a couple. The snow on the ground was a GREAT effect! :-) I think this is the shot I've chosen but I don't really know which effect I like. Let me know what you think, k? And I just love this one of Peyton...she was the only one willing to stay outside and let me shoot a couple more! Good GIRL!
